Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Copper Beech Pen

Introducing Darwin College's Copper Beech Pen- available with either a fountain or roller-ball nib. Crafted by local Cambridge-based carpenters, the Copper Beech pen is made using timber from Darwin College's very own Copper Beech tree- a centre piece of the Darwin family gardens for centuries.

Unfortunately the tree had to be felled in 2022, but it’s stump has formed a historical landmark in the gardens. A small piece of wood from the tree has been used to make these limited-edition pens in commemoration for the 60th anniversary of Darwin College in 2024.

Each pen comes with it's own protective case, a postcard of the Copper Beech tree, and information card on the history of the tree.
